took this pic while hanging out with jjj one evening. something tells me this 2nd half of the year will fly by faster than i can imagine.

july seemed to be a really short month. two visits to the special needs school, swimming at the pool, drinking parties, complaining about the heat, humidity and rain, a 10-day holiday and it’s over. it’s summer here now and the summer holidays have started in school. went back to school yesterday after a week or so off. apparently, the rumour was that i had gone off to study japanese somewhere. i wish that were the case. i wish. maybe it is kinda true. i went to the ol’ hometown in kansai to learn more kansai-ben. heh

up next in the month of august, hanging out with the samster and hwee hwee, back to kansai and shikoku, hanging out with jjj and a shashintori post somewhere (sorry medster!). i’m just doing my part to help the japanese economy, shopping and travelling. i do one’s best :D i’ll cap my shopping budget at 100,000yen and have a separate budget for travelling (currently undecided) :x

caved in and got the iphone 3gs today :D new iphone’s named Finn. am still getting used to the phone and how it works and so far, it’s been good. just wondering now if i need an app to access the free wifi spots around japan. will try it out soon ^^ also went out to buy finn a case and fell in love with this red silicone cover that also came with a thin sheet to put over the screen. so the actual screen doesn’t get smudged -_- all protected now! remember, be safe kids.

i haven’t been going out much. because i’ve been hiding in my little town. because i’m also waiting for pictures from the last mad night out involving team rin-ku :x which i might only get in august.

so the summer holidays are arriving. about time too i say! isn’t it funny how the summer holidays are about the same time each year?!?! ^^;; summer holidays means travelling, more travelling around, concerts and more travelling if i have enough money. let’s see what’s happening this summer.

1. A might be headed up here end july (maybe)

2. i have the samster with me for 5 whole days! hurrah~ and we’d definitely be meeting hwee hwee and maybe cristina!

3. then it’s back to school for a week or two

4. off to the osaka/hyogo/shikoku i go! maybe two weeks ^^

yay for summer vacation. it’d be sweltering hot wherever i go. i can’t imagine how cold it was in the winter :( so to finish off this rambling post, here’s my favourite video from a month ago. the rest of the pictures are on flickr. enjoy!

#8 to go on holiday to all these places nao.

she was once mine for a week. her name was miiko. it was fun while it lasted. our friends came over everyday to play together. there were bubbles, recorders, clip-on koalas and a lots of lying around watching her play and jump at everything. amusing ourselves entertaining her. i miss that a lot. a couple days back, i found a video of her. it brought back great memories <3 her name is sora. here it is for youse to enjoy :D
